DENSITY

Density is the amount of "stuff" there is inside of an object. In science we did various lab experiments to find the density of a unknown object. To find the density of an object, you must divide the mass by the volume. The equation for this is d=m/v. We also learned that if an objects density is less than 1g/cm3, it will float in water, and if an objects density is greater than 1g/cm3, it will sink in water, because water's density is 1g/cm3.
